Foundational Principles
Transformation must be guided by a deep understanding of the business objectives. It must also be informed by proper moral and ethical standards to be considered "good." A comprehensive study of the environment and desired course provides a roadmap for future navigation. |

ENTERPRISE TRANSFORMATION
Many Executives want breakthrough performance gains. It is useful to identify, at the highest levels of strategy, the core goal and objectives of the organization. The insights gained drive a renewed focus for all business areas to share in the vision and make harmonious decisions that are aligned with that common understanding. |

ORGANIZATION DESIGN
Business design should reflect the business processes. Functional alignments, if used, should be deliberately subjected to process-orientation and authority. Some traditional designs create stovepipes that resist improvement and may present barriers to implementing a process of on-going improvement. A pure process design may be possible even if parent-organizations are not modified in an Enterprise Transformation. However, safeguards and business rules must address seams and reinforce process focus and priority or regression will likely occur. Initial Point Consulting encourages process-oriented business design as a product of Strategic Alignment and Deployment analysis. |
